Finishing TAMCO's LBGC

After some serious sanding and inspection we are ready for finish. Here is a couple of clear lacquer coats to check things out and seal the wood.

Some mellow shading just to warm things up a bit.




Now we'll be adding some clear lacquer to build a thin finish and allow some fine sanding and buffing when done.

AMC UK Ladder Braced Grand Concert

A new guitar being made for Trevor at AMC UK, Euro Maple back and sides with an addy top. We're going to keep it simple with this guitar. look for that next week.

Finishing up on this one and doing a tobacco burst but keeping it light to let the nice mahogany figure show thru.




Here with just the first coats of clear after doing the color. A very fragile time in the finishing process, any serious sanding and your toast.
